City car parking: only in regular parking bays or VU-VUmc car parks

Share
28 August 2025
Parking of city cars is not allowed in the bicycle parking area or in the outdoor model racks.

Parking of city cars is only allowed in regular parking spaces or in one of the VU-VUmc car parks.

Good to know

The above is in line with Amsterdam City Council policy. In addition, for the enforcement of wrong-way parking, we follow the existing policy of wrong-way parking of two-wheelers/outside models as much as possible. This means that in case of repeated wrong-parking, the VU will set up a procedure to deal with frequent wrong-parkers. This procedure is then also carried out by the campus hosts of Logistics.
