The ceremony was hosted by Marijn Plomp, with faculty members — Maura Soekijad, Frans Feldberg, Edona Elshan, Katharina Cepa and Bart van den Hooff from the KIN Center for Digital Innovation — awarding the diplomas to the graduating students, marking the completion of their academic journey.
Two special moments highlighted the evening and captured the spirit of the DBI program. Marc van Heemskerk received the DBI Thesis Award for his innovative and impactful research, while Eleni Dimou delivered a brilliant speech on behalf of the students, perfectly reflecting the essence of community within the program: it’s intense and challenging, yet success comes through teamwork and mutual support.
Graduates commended the program’s practical approach and its strong connection to real-world business challenges. Part of the program’s success comes from the DBI Advisory Board, consisting of successful alumni who generously share their expertise. Combined with the program’s experiential learning and hands-on approach, insights from these seasoned practitioners equip students — many of whom have already started their careers — with the skills needed to thrive professionally.
Congratulations to all DBI graduates! We invite you to stay connected through the DBI Alumni LinkedIn group to continue your professional development with us.
