Organized by IRADA, the workshop was conducted simultaneously at the CIS College STRIPES Lab in Beirut and livestreamed to the INMAA STRIPES Center in Bekaa, ensuring equitable access to quality training for participants across both regions.
A total of 26 trainees took part in the session, 11 from CIS, 11 from INMAA, and 4 from IRADA, engaging in an interactive learning experience designed to enhance their ability to deliver dynamic and learner-centered training.
The program focused on innovative delivery and facilitation techniques such as discussion methods, focus groups, gamification, ice breakers, energizers, role play, and presentation skills. Participants also explored effective classroom management strategies and the optimal use of visual aids to enrich the learning process.
The workshop was led by Mr. Imad Al-Shmaitilli, a senior regional trainer with more than 14 years of experience across Lebanon and the MENA region. With over 10,000 training hours and 20,000 trainees to his credit, Mr. Al-Shmaitilli brought a wealth of expertise in adult learning methodologies, facilitation techniques, and human development practices, creating an engaging and impactful learning experience for all participants.
This TOT session represents a significant step forward in advancing the STRIPES Project’s mission to empower trainers, elevate the quality of vocational education, and build sustainable institutional capacities within Lebanon’s TVET ecosystem. Through hybrid learning models and cross-regional collaboration, IRADA and its partners continue to foster inclusive, relevant, and high-quality skills development opportunities that contribute to a stronger and more resilient workforce.
