FSS bachelor's programmes
Whereas the bachelor's in Communication Science scored a little lower on many themes last year than before, the programme is actually doing better this year. More information about the NSE
The National Student Survey (NSE) is the national student satisfaction survey. Every year, almost all students in Dutch higher education are invited to give their opinion about their study programme and college or university. Students at the Faculty of Social Sciences are particularly satisfied with the academic skills offered by the programmes. Students with support needs are also satisfied with the opportunities they receive to study well.
This year, 23.3% of FSW students completed the survey, a nice increase from last year's response rate of 20.7%. More information about this survey can be found on the National Student Survey webpage.
What happens to the results?
The results of the NSE are discussed within the study programmes. In the programme committees, programme directors discuss with students which improvements students find important. Based on these discussions and the course evaluations, concrete areas for improvement are chosen to tackle in the coming year.
