Students gave VU Amsterdam an average grade of 3.88 (on a scale of 0 to 5). This puts the university in a shared fourth place of the larger universities of the Netherlands. The highest ratings are also given this year for involvement and contact, teachers and content of the study programmes.
As in previous years, students indicate that they would choose their study programme again based on their experiences (3.93 out of 5). This shows that students are satisfied with their study programme at VU Amsterdam.
A total of 7997 students participated in the NSE 2024, which is 23.5% of the total number of students. Rector Jeroen Geurts would like to thank all students who shared their opinions: ‘‘We are extremely proud of the positive feedback we have once again received in the National Student Survey. We are dedicated every day to all our students; their satisfaction and success are at the heart of everything we do. These results motivate us to continue providing an inspiring and supportive learning environment for all.’’
