Do you recognise the feeling of constantly being busy, yet rarely having time for what really matters? Switching endlessly between tasks, dealing with interruptions, and trying to meet high expectations can make it difficult to stay focused, effective and resilient. This science-based training combines time management, personal effectiveness and dealing with work pressure into one programme. Drawing on insights from neuroscience, psychology and 'Deep Work', participants gain practical tools to work with more focus, make conscious choices, and maintain energy in a demanding work environment.
Programme
On the first day, the focus is on time management and personal effectiveness. You explore how attention and focus work in the brain, how to reduce switch-tasking, and how to create conditions for deep, concentrated work. Practical tools help translate insights into daily routines, from goal-setting and planning methods to strategies for switching off and recharging. With the support of a professional training actor, you practice communication skills such as saying no, dealing with pushy behaviour, delegating tasks, and negotiating priorities - essential skills for protecting time and attention.
The second day adresses dealing with work pressure in a holistic way, focusing on skills, mindset, energy, and the social context of work. You examine sources of stress, cognitive patterns such as impostor feelings and self-criticism, and learn evidence-based techniques to regulate energy and restore balance. Through exercises, reflection and role-play with an actor, you practice giving and receiving feedback, setting boundaries, and talking openly about workload and pressure. The programme concludes with a personal action plan, helping participants take concrete next steps toward sustainable performance, focus and well-being.
