This symposium is a follow-up to the event organized by WO&MEN@VU on the occasion of International Women's Day. The focus is on the role of gender and intersectionality in higher education. The symposium consists of a keynote by an outside speaker, a panel discussion with experts from inside and outside the university, student presentations and a Human Library session. In all of these components, we will discuss how best to preserve teaching and learning about gender equality and intersectionality in a climate of political pressure.
