 will host the Gender and Intersectionality Symposium at VU, focusing 
 on the role of gender and intersectionality in higher education.</p> 
 <p>This symposium is a follow-up to the event organized by WO&amp;MEN
 @VU on the occasion of International Women's Day. It focuses on the r
 ole of gender and intersectionality in higher education. During the s
 ymposium, we will discuss how education and knowledge on gender equal
 ity and intersectionality can be maintained and strengthened in a cli
 mate of increasing political pressure.</p><p><strong>Programme</stron
 g></p><p><strong>14:00</strong> – Opening by diversity and inclusio
 n researcher Seda Müftügil Yalcin.</p><p><strong>14:30</strong> –
  Presentation of research findings by students from the Political Sci
 ence programme.</p><p><strong>15:15</strong> – Human Library activi
 ty featuring inspiring "books" who invite participants to engage in c
 ritical dialogue and challenge stereotypes about people situated at t
 he intersections of multiple identities.</p><p>Across all sessions, w
 e will explore the role that gender equality and intersectionality sh
 ould play within higher education and how these themes can continue t
 o have a place in teaching and research.</p><p>We hope to see you the
