Friday, June 19, we wil l hold the Gender and Intersectionality symposium at VU, focusing on the role of gender and intersectionality in higher education.

This symposium is a follow-up to the event organized by WO&MEN@VU on the occasion of International Women's Day. The focus is on the ro le of gender and intersectionality in higher education. The symposium consists of a keynote by an outside speaker, a panel discussion with experts from inside and outside the university, student presentation s and a Human Library session. In all of these components, we will di scuss how best to preserve teaching and learning about gender equalit y and intersectionality in a climate of political pressure.

We hope to see you there - regardless of your background - to listen, pa rticipate and learn from each other.
