He followed these entrepreneurs for over two years to map how they navigate innovation, efficiency, and crisis management, with a special focus on their response to the coronavirus crisis.
The research shows that these entrepreneurs don't operate in a fixed way, but constantly adapt their strategy to the context and timing. Their unique flexibility enables them to respond quickly to unexpected events, although responses vary significantly from person to person. Kutzewski concludes that policymakers and advisors should better tailor their support to this dynamic, for example, by offering tools for managing complexity and uncertainty.
