THE VRIJE UNIVERSITEIT AMSTERDAM PEACE & CONFLICT STUDIES CENTRE PRESENTS: Nobel Peace Prize Nomination Ceremony, in recognition of her service to peacebuilding in South Sudan: peace activist Alokiir Malual Aguer Diing.
The ceremony will take place on May 27th, from 15:00 to 17:00 (doors open 14:45) in HG2A-00 VU Main Building. The nomination is the annual centrepiece of the activities our VU Nobel Peace Prize Committee, which consists of students from the master programmes in Political Science, and the Law and Politics of International Security, as well as the Minor in Peace & Conflict Studies.
We are overjoyed that The Most Reverend Thabo Makgoba Archbishop of Cape Town Anglican Church of Southern Africa will join us at the event.
