THE VRIJE UNIVERSITE IT AMSTERDAM PEACE & CONFLICT STUDIES CENTRE PRESENTS: Nobel Peac e Prize Nomination Ceremony, in recognition of her service to peacebu ilding in South Sudan: peace activist Alokiir Malual Aguer Diing.
The ceremony will take place on May 27th, from 15:00 to 17:00 (doors open 14:45) in HG2A-00 VU Main Building. The nomination is th e annual centrepiece of the activities our VU Nobel Peace Prize Commi ttee, which consists of students from the master programmes in Politi cal Science, and the Law and Politics of International Security, as w ell as the Minor in Peace & Conflict Studies.
We are overjo yed that The Most Reverend Thabo Makgoba Archbishop of Cape Town Angl ican Church of Southern Africa will join us at the event.
