VU Amsterdam, Amsterdam UMC and UvA are hosting a joint information session on the newly announced ERC Plus (ERC+) grant and the ERC Synergy Grant (SyG) — two prestigious funding schemes designed to empower bold, frontier research.
The new ERC Plus (ERC+) scheme offers researchers the opportunity to build on existing excellence and take their ERC-funded research to the next level, strengthening impact, expanding scope, and advancing long-term scientific vision. The ERC Synergy Grant (SyG) supports ambitious, curiosity-driven projects in which two to four Principal Investigators join forces to tackle complex scientific challenges that are simply too large or interdisciplinary for a single researcher to address alone.
During this information session, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) will provide insider insight into the upcoming calls, explain key evaluation criteria, and share practical tips to strengthen your proposal. There will be room for questions, discussion, and exchanging ideas with peers.
