ERC Consolidator Grant full-day training 8 September 2025 09:00 - 17:00

Share
In this interactive training we will provide information, updates and guidance to researchers who are planning to submit an ERC Consolidator Grant call 2026.

In this full-day event IXA-GO, VU Grants Office invites RVO (the Dutch Enterprise Agency) to inform us about the upcoming ERC Consolidator Grant. The ERC recently announced changes to the ERC work programmes. In this training RVO will provide us with all the details about these changes and they will provide general tips and tricks on the ERC grant.

In this training we target specifically ERC CoG candidates who are planning to submit an ERC CoG in the call of 2026 (expected deadline January 13, 2026)

The ERC CoG 2026 supports researchers that are consolidating their own independent research team or programme, and who can demonstrate the groundbreaking nature, ambition and feasibility of their scientific proposal.

Researchers are eligible to submit to the ERC CoG 2026 when they obtained their PhD 7 till 12 years ago.

In order to submit an ERC grant with the VU as host insititution you will need a Host Institution Letter, supporting your submission.

Limited placements: Because of its interactive nature this training course can only accommodate a maximum of 16 participants. In order to create a fair distribution of the available places among the various faculties we first need to assess the level of interest among the potential participants before we can confirm any definitive placement. Furthermore, we will also take into account whether you are able and willing to participate during the whole day to get the most benefit from this workshop for both you and the other participants.

If you are interested in and able to join us for this full-day interactive workshop at the VU campus on Monday September 8, please let us know via: subsidiedesk@vu.nl. We will confirm a possible placement in due time.
