At open science week, we will broadly discuss the four important pillars of open science: open scientific knowledge, open science infrastructures, open engagement of societal actors, and open dialogue with other knowledge systems (UNESCO, 2021). The week will kick-off on 17th June with inspiration and co-ideation sessions among open science projects funded by Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
We invite all VU staff and students as well as international delegates from partner universities (including AURORA universities) to the events on 18th, 19th, and 20th of June. There we will participate in discussions and deliberations on topics related to open science, including Citizen science, Science Shop 2.0, Knowledge equity in science, and Engagement of societal actors in research and education, among others.
