KINTalk: Coding with AI at Booking.com 4 October 2024 16:30 - 18:30

Share
How can AI enhance the coding experience? Experts from the field will offer real-world examples of AI’s impact on the software development landscape.

Join us on Friday, October 4th, at 16:30 for a discussion with Bruno Passos and Matt Sexton on how AI is being integrated to enhance the software development experience at Booking.com. Bruno, serving as Technology Product Manager, and Matt, bringing technical expertise, will share their unique perspectives on the early learnings from this initiative. They will explore real-world examples of how AI coding assistants are being used, highlighting both the productivity gains and challenges they’ve faced along the way.

We look forward to connecting with everybody interested in a topic: scholars and practitioners alike. The concept of KINTalks is simple: sharing knowledge, firing up a debate and fostering enduring connections.

For whom

We will conclude the event with a borrel to network: grab a drink and share your ideas on the topic. Whether you're a developer, product manager, researcher, student, or tech enthusiast, this discussion offers valuable insights and practical examples of AI's impact on the future of software development.

Background

This event is organized by researchers at the KIN Center for Digital Innovation at School of Business & Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It seems that there are (too) little moments where academics and practitioners meet. We founded KINTalks to shape and co-create the future of work with practitioners together: let's share our passion for digital Innovation, data and AI, fire up a debate and foster enduring connections.
