Annual writing retreat for the PhD candidates of the School of Social Sciences
Do you need a few days of calm to make a writing sprint, finish an article, or write up a proposal? Then you are warmly invited to participate in the GSSS Writing Retreat 2024.
This year, the PhD writing retreat will be held in beautiful Driebergen in the province of Utrecht, at Landgoed de Horst. The location is easily accessible by public transport from Amsterdam and other cities.
Not only will you have two full days to work on your own projects in a calm environment; you will also receive 1-1 guidance by academic writing expert Gea Dreschler (VU Academic Language Program). The writing retreat will start on Wednesday 23 October, 10.00, with an introductory workshop by Gea, and end on Friday 25 October, 12.00, after a short wrap-up session.
