The CSL team is inviting you for a monthly lunch session for all VU staff members interested in or involved with different forms of Engaged Learning. Engaged Learning is experience-based education in which students and teachers, together with external partners, work on issues with and for our society. These partners can be CSOs, governmental organizations, social organizations, businesses, or residents from the local community. This form of education in known by many names, such as Community Service Learning, Transdisciplinary Education, Community Engaged Learning or Stakeholder Engaged Learning.
The lunch provides an opportunity for us to come together, share ideas, knowledge, and experiences, and inspire each other, or simply connect. If you have any questions about implementing an Engaged Learning approach in your course, feel free to ask them during our lunch meeting. Our team members have experience with this educational form in their courses and are more than willing to exchange knowledge and ideas with you.
