Did you know that we have worm compost on VU Campus? You can find worm hotels on the rooftop terrace of the Main Building and near the Starthub.
Come, see and pet them! Here, compost worms convert organic waste into compost. We collect worm food at various locations on campus, including the Green Office in the Main Building (HG KC-18).
Approximately 10-15 kg of organic waste can be composted weekly, meaning it does not end up in the traditional waste stream. This contributes to our sustainable ambitions and helps us towards Zero Waste VU!
