Take action now
Last updated on 31 August 2023
There can be several reasons for terminating your employment contract at own request. For the following reasons, you are responsible for initiating your resignation.
  • Termination of employment contract at own request
  • Termination of employment contract due to ABP early retirement
  • Termination of employment contract in probationary period
  • Termination of employment contract by mutual agreement
  • Termination of employment contract on dissolution by cantonal court

You find self-service option Offboarding - resignation request by employee for this in the Service Portal via the blue 'Take action now' button on this page. Please note that you will also be asked to upload your resignation letter.

Note: arrange your termination more than 4 weeks before the termination date, to ensure a timely processing.

On the page Termination of employment contract - finalising your resignation you will find an overview of all the topics you should consider before your employment is terminated, so that you can take care of the important matters in time.

In case your termination has other reasons, your manager will arrange the termination via the self-service option Offboarding - resignation request by manager.
