Finance is responsible for the university’s financial strategy and policy development.
Finance is responsible for the university’s financial strategy and policy development. It also takes care of operational activities in the field of financial information, business control, purchasing, corporate finance and auditing, both internal and otherwise. In addition, Finance is responsible for the financial administration of the service departments and payroll university-wide.
As of 1 April 2013, Finance consists of a central organization and decentralized departments at each faculty?school. The faculty/school departments focus on financial information, business control and project control, including the administration of projects funded from external sources. They are also responsible for the respective faculties’ financial administration.
Finance employs approximately 120 people.
Mission
Finance's mission is to provide targeted support to the realization of research and education projects. This support must be as efficient and user-friendly as possible, and must be clearly focussed on the client. In addition, Finance's aims to provide its employees with an enjoyable and innovative working environment.
