The Faculty Joint Assembly (fGV) consists of the members of the Faculty Work Council (ODC) and the Faculty Student Council (FSR). The fGV consults with the faculty board. The tasks and powers of the fGV can be found in the Faculty Participation Regulations. These tasks include advisory rights on the annual faculty budget, the annual report and right of consent on the headlines of the annual budget, the faculty regulations, the multi-year plan and the Teaching and Examination Regulations. The fGV can also provide unsolicited advice to the faculty board.
