Dates of salary payments

Salary payments will take place (the bank transfer will be effectuated) according to the schedule below, barring unforeseen circumstances:

2025 and 2026:

24 November 2025 (including year-end bonus)
22 December 2025
23 January 2026

24 March 2026

22 May 2026 (including holiday pay)
24 June 2026

Generally speaking, the funds will be available in your account the same day or within 48 hours of the dates listed.

The year-end bonus is accrued from 1 December up to and including 30 November. The year-end bonus is paid with the November salary.

  • Additional dates for payment of declared expenses (employees with employment only)

    Declared expenses are also paid through a so-called intermediate run. In this intermediate run, VU Amsterdam usually pays claims that have missed the regular salary payment. 

    These payments will take place (the bank transfer will be effectuated) according to the schedule below, barring unforeseen circumstances:

  • Payment dates Sickness Benefits Act (ZW) - only for ex-employees

    Since VU Amsterdam is own-risk bearer for the Sickness Benefits Act of employees who left the organisation while sick. The ZW benefits are managed by SV Pay, they calculate the benefits per 4 weeks. VU Amsterdam ensures the payment of these benefits on the following dates:
