Datasets should be archived, so that other researchers can reuse the data you collected. The Dutch Code of Conduct for Scientific Practice requires researchers to provide access to their research data to third parties, in the interests of replication and verification. Most publishers also ask researchers to indicate where the datasets that have been used for a publication, are stored.
