Read the instruction manual for the operation of the fume cupboards. You can also view this manual by scanning the QR code on the fume cupboard.
Use of fume cupboards
When the window is open at working height (50 cm), there is a high flow extraction of approximately 750 m³, and when the window is closed, there is a low flow extraction of approximately 200 m³. The emission of substances and vapors is much lower when the window is closed. The working environment is therefore much safer when the window is closed.
Extracting fumes from the fume cupboard consumes energy and therefore costs a lot of money. For sustainable use, it is important that the fume cupboard window is always closed (low flow setting) when not in use. Therefore, do not place any objects in front of the sensor, as this will prevent the window from closing properly.
