Do you want to organize a one-off event and are you looking for support from Team Events? Every year there is room for four large-scale events and/or events with a big impact.
To qualify for priority status, an event must meet the following criteria:
The event...
- is VU-wide and/or serves one or more VU-wide target groups and/or serves a VU-wide strategic goal;
- has scientific and social relevance;
- expresses the VU-identity ‘science with a conscience/value-driven science for a better world’ and/or
- ties in with one of the 3 profile themes (Governance for Society, Human Health & Life Sciences, Science for Sustainability) and/or
- arises from or responds to (urgent) current events.
And meet the following conditions:
- at least 500 (international) visitors and/or
- focuses on a smaller group of impact makers (such as CEO/board members/politicians etc.) and/or
- generates press attention;
- fits within the annual event calendar;
- if your application is received when education, promotions, orations and degrees have already been scheduled, it is necessary that these do not have to deviate from this.
