The survey
In January, February and March students are asked in to complete the questionnaire and give their opinion on various aspects of their education, such as the content of the programme, acquired skills, preparation for their professional career, teachers, accessibility of information, study facilities, review and assessment, study schedules, study load and student counseling.
What will be done with the results?
The results of the survey will be analyzed and published in June. The results per programme and individual questions will be accessible via MIVU (https://mi.vu.nl).
VU Amsterdam will improve education and facilities based on the results of the NSE. The insights students provide through the NSE play an essential role in the quality assurance cycle and are also discussed in annual reports of programmes and faculties. Information about the results will be shown to prospective students in educational materials such as Studiekeuze123.nl. In addition, the NSE results are used for publications such as Keuzegids Universiteiten (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes) and Elsevier.
