Poster areas and poster boards

Last updated on 10 March 2025
Do you have a message you want to spread via a poster or poster and want to know where to put it up?

The VU has a PublicatieSpot in various buildings. The publication must comply with the following rules:

  • a maximum of 1 poster or poster per topic
  • the content of the publication is in line with VU Amsterdam's house rules, objectives and principles
  • the content of the publication does not compete with VU education programmes, does not have a religious earmark without an invitation for debate or open dialogue, is not political or commercial in nature, is ethically sound and is not discriminatory
  • your poster may remain up to 1 calendar month - every last Friday of the month the board is cleaned by VU staff
  • a stamp with date is required from the FCO Service Desk (desk in the Main Building, KC.01) to hang a poster. When applying for the stamp, the content will be checked against the rules of the game included above.

Posters or posters can be pre-checked against these ground rules at frontoffice.fco@vu.nl, or at the counter, KC.01.

NB: The deposit of loose flyers will not be facilitated from sustainability considerations. The advice is to provide the publication with a QR code from where people can view and download information.
