Obtain your UTQ with an individual portfolio

Individual University Teaching Qualification (i-UTQ)

In the individual University Teaching Qualification, the way you work towards your UTQ is tailored to fit your personal situation. You can plan your time flexibly and will receive individual feedback.

Working method
After registration, you can already start compiling your portfolio. You can do this based on a step-by-step plan and a UTQ questionnaire. You will be sent all the documents you need in an email from the VU Centre for Teaching and Learning. The portfolio you ultimately submit will demonstrate your professional conduct and teaching skills in designing education, teaching practice and supervising students. The portfolio will be assessed by the course instructor and a faculty tutor. In consultation with your course instructor, you will decide who in your faculty takes on the role of your tutor and when the assessment interview will be held. The course instructor will be your overall point of contact for specific questions during the entire programme.

Results
You will obtain the UTQ certificate and your UTQ will be recorded in the SAP-HRM staff database. Of course, you must meet all of the criteria set by the Certification Committee.

Congratulations!
