Programme
In this 4-session workshop series, we will get acquainted with the educational philosophy of ABM, and how it can inspire you in your own teaching context. During the workshop series, you will write a personal manifesto outlining a vision for educating socially and personally engaged students. You will be introduced to various innovative teaching practices such as Community Service Learning and Art Based Learning, known to support students in developing relevant reflective and interpersonal skills. Following these examples, you will (re)design your own teaching practices and receive feedback from your peers to refine them. The sessions will be hands-on and provide time to slow down and look at your teaching from a different angle.
Certificate of participation
A certificate of participation will be handed out after completing a portfolio consisting of, amongst other things, a presentation of your educational vision, and the design of an intervention that will show an application of the insights of the workshop series.
