Working method
Course members are grouped according to their level of Dutch. In the classes at VU Amsterdam, we will use a digital language lab to improve your pronunciation. You will receive explanations and instructions in Dutch and will practice your listening and speaking skills.
Outside the classes, you will train your listening, reading and writing skills. You’ll learn vocabulary and grammar. You will use an e-learning method. During your course, you will be supervised personally by your teacher.
Entry requirements
Everyone who has finished a secondary education (comparable to the Dutch havo/vwo) is welcome. If you do not speak Dutch yet, some knowledge of the English language is necessary. Sufficient computer skills are necessary. This means you have to be able to do your online homework independently. An intake (verbal and/or written) can be part of the selection procedure.
