Missing data: consequences and solutions

The course is intended for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of missing data in research.

For example, you may be dealing with missing data in your own research and are about to begin analysing it, or you may want to learn how to critically assess articles or research proposals in which missing data plays a role. It is also important to be able to evaluate the impact of missing data on practice-oriented research.

Entry requirements

The following concepts are assumed to be known at the start of the course:

  • Knowledge of basic statistical tests such as t-tests and regression analyses
  • Familiarity with some basic SPSS commands

Knowledge of R (Studio) is not required.
