Decolonising Scholarship

This course will address alternative, critical and justice pedagogies together with research methodologies, speaking to the scholarly project of decolonial feminism.

Freirian praxis of criticality and learning through sharing allows scholars to collectively developing weekly agenda/sessions through consultation. A course outline is offered with a bibliography to develop an ongoing archival process, including social media sites. Sessions will rely on blurring the lines between art/activism/scholarship in order to address the importance of intersecting ontology and epistemology.

The success of the course is heavily reliant on scholarly participation for making this an inclusive process whilst disrupting colonial praxis.
