Course Description
In this course, you learn the basics of how you can take care of your research data. We will address aspects like storage, archiving, publishing, documentation and how to keep your data secure. The course is aimed at PhD students at the beginning of their research project (± 1st year) from:
• Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSH)
• Faculty of Law (RCH)
The main output of the course is a Data Management Plan (DMP) for your project. If you have a DMP already, you can continue working on this existing DMP. If your existing DMP is complete, specific and up-to-date, there is a possibility to do an alternative assignment.
The course consists of 2 workshops and 1 peer review session. Please make sure that you are able to participate in all three events.
