Introduction to Supercomputing

If you have to perform many calculations, or analyses that are too large for your own system, clusters and supercomputers provide the necessary computing power. In this training you learn to work with the national Lisa computer cluster and the national supercomputer Snellius.

What will you learn in this training?

 In this training you do practical exercises to learn how to use the national compute cluster Lisa and the national supercomputer effectively and how you can perform your tasks with minimal effort in the shortest possible time. These skills are also applicable to the VU BAZIS cluster on campus. 

For who? 

Anyone who wants to know how to efficiently automate compute tasks.
