Education agenda: guide for improvement

At VU, we work with an integral VU Education Agenda. The Education Agenda is a translation of the VU educational ambitions from the VU Strategy and VU Vision on Education into concrete results and activities. One agenda in which all our education plans are brought together.

The multi-year VU Education Agenda (2023-2028) (available in Dutch) will be updated every year based on progress, results and progressive insights.

Education Agenda 2024-2025

Every year, we determine the spearheads in the annual edition of the VU Education Agenda. In this video, we highlight 3 spearheads for academic year 2024-2025. We work on strengthening ‘A Broader Mind’ in our education; we analyse our faculty education portfolios and take actions resulting from them; and we make policies and practical applications concerning AI in education.
