We regularly receive questions from non-students on behalf of (prospective) students who are studying or wish to study at VU Amsterdam.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), VU Amsterdam does not disclose information about students who have reached the age of majority to third parties. Personal details are discussed only with the student in question. VU Amsterdam requests written proof when a student is unable to communicate due to urgent unforeseen circumstances. VU Amsterdam will then assess the action to be taken as determined by the specific situation. The information on the website is accessible to the public.
