Admission to a Master's degree with an HBO diploma

As a HBO bachelor student, there are possibilities to start a one- or two-year Master's degree at VU Amsterdam.

Please note: this page contains information about transferring from an HBO Bachelor's degree (university of applied sciences) to a Master's degree at university level. If you want to transfer from a university of applied sciences to a Bachelor's degree at VU Amsterdam, you will find more information here.

With an HBO bachelor's degree, you usually have to follow a pre-master's or Bachelor's programme before you can start with the (subsequent) Master's programme. Check the programme page of your preferred Master's programme to see the possibilities.
