Hi!
Great to hear that you’ve signed up for the Taster Day of Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at the John Stuart Mill College of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
During this day, you’ll get a good idea of what it’s like to study PPE. You’ll attend real lectures, take part in an interactive session, and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions to students and staff.
We’ll be happy to welcome you on Thursday 19 February between 08:45 and 09:00 at the white registration desk near the main entrance of the main building. Running a bit late? No worries! The first lecture takes place from 09:00 to 10:45 in room HG 04A36 on the 4th floor. Just ask the host on the ground floor to help you find your way.
We’ll start the day with a lecture by dr. Katharina Brütt, followed by an interactive seminar led by dr. Özlem Terzi, our coordinator for Political Science.
After the morning sessions, it’s time for lunch. During lunch, you can ask all your questions about the programme to our dean Roland Luttens and to PPE students. We’ll finish the day with a short campus tour.
No preparation is needed.
If you have any questions, feel free to email us at info.ppe@vu.nl.
See you then!
Best wishes, Rozemarijn van Faassen Programme Officer PPE
