Education programs for professionals

“Change the digital world”

At KIN Center for Digital Innovation, we believe that it is crucial to look beyond the hypes of digital innovation. This is what we focus on in our executive programs for data and digital professionals. Do you want to learn to convert big data into actionable insights? Immerse yourself in analytical, business and technology skills. Do you like to learn to bridge the gap between business and technology and become the digital leader who understands how digital innovation can contribute to your organization.

KIN Research offers two postgraduate education programs (currently only in Dutch) for professionals and executives who already have a master degree. 

Executive education

  • Digital Innovation and Transformation 

    Digital Innovation and Transformation (14 full day program). Join this program to gain deep knowledge and a broad perspective on what digital transformation may mean for your organization. Our program helps you navigate the digital landscape and make better decisions

  • Business Analytics & Data Science

    Post-graduate program (PGO) Business Analytics & Data Science. This is a one-year part-time program containing modules on for instance predictive modeling, data-driven business innovation, and big data infrastructure & technologies. The program roughly consists of equal parts Business Administration, Computer Science, and Mathematics; the three disciplines essential to the field of data science. Target audience include people responsible for transforming and translating data into actionable insights, as well as those in tactical and strategic management with an interest in this field.

  • Data Driven steering in public sector

    In this 8 months part-time training programme Data Driven steering in public sector, passionate professors and experts from the field will translate scientific insights into concrete tools for your daily work. There is plenty of room to share knowledge and experience from your own practice and to learn from each other. 

  • Managing AI WISEly

    In the Managing AI WISEly programme, we use case studies from our state-of-the-art research on how AI technologies are developed and used, through which you will gain a deep understanding of how AI technologies can be managed and what you can do to responsibly employ AI’s capabilities while preventing potential organizational risks and pitfalls. 

(Online) courses

  • Nationale AI cursus

    This course is perfect for beginners in AI, it's fast and free. The Vrije Universiteit is an important partner for the AI Course. Various professors share their knowledge. The course is also very much appreciated by the Executive Board.

  • AI in Practice (MOOC)

    This two-course program provides a wide range of cases and examples of current AI applications in various organizations. It presents ideas and case studies for actual situations based on state-of-the-art AI research, and provides practical tools for integrating AI into your own organization.

    This program has been developed by Delft University of Technology and the Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence Academy (ICAI) in the Netherlands. ICAI is a national initiative involving industry, universities (icl VU) and government in the area of AI research and applications. Case studies presented include contributions from top Dutch universities, public institutions and AI experts from companies such as ING, Ahold Delhaize, Elsevier, KPN and Thirona.
