The Ethnographic Impact Lab is rooted in the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, where we conduct research with scientific rigor and social relevance. Our team includes established researchers, emerging scholars, and students engaged in collaborative research. But the Impact Lab extends far beyond our department. It’s a network of community partners, NGOs, policymakers, and practitioners who work alongside us to drive meaningful change.
