Darren Gardner has a PhD from the New School for Social Research in New York City. His research is in Ancient Philosophy and the History of Philosophy. He is developing a new research project on the history and reception of Cynicism from Socrates to Sloterdijk.
As a CLUE+ fellow, he will produce an article on Diogenes and Cynic contradiction, develop talks on Cynic philosophy, counterculture, and social normativity, and produce a research grant proposal on the reception of Cynicism.
