What VU IXA-GO can do for you
Our team acts as the central link between VU Amsterdam and major (inter)national grant providers. We manage the institutional portal accounts for various funder platforms, for example. Get in touch with us early in your application process so we can support you in the best possible way.
VU IXA-GO is responsible for:
- Managing legal and institutional information
- Providing support during the grant agreement phase, including ethics and security, reporting, and amendments on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal
- Monitoring compliance with funders’ terms and conditions
Grant systems
VU IXA-GO manages the registration and timely annual renewal on behalf of Stichting VU (VU Amsterdam) in multiple grant systems, amongst others:
- National: DUS-i portal and the Gemeente Amsterdam (e-herkenning);
- European: EU Funding and Tenders portal, Erasmus+ portal, ESA-star, European Transparency register, PADOR, Microdata Access Portal and JE-s portal;
- American: System for Award Management (SAM), ERA Commons, Grants.gov, Proposal Central, Research.gov, NASA Nspires, dbGaP database, NIMH database and EBRAP database;
- Private: EARMA registration, AXA-research fund, Frontiers Research Foundation, World Bank portal and Templeton Foundation portal.
Grants Compliance officer and LEAR
VU IXA-GO houses the Grants Compliance Officer and the Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR). The primary role is to facilitate VU-researchers so that they apply for a wide variety of external funding. This is done by ensuring that grant application registrations are centrally managed and updated, by providing user accounts where necessary (and provide support for filling out application documents of an administrative nature) and expanding knowledge at the VU on grant schemes and tenders.
