In the 2022-2023 academic year, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam had a total of 31,761 students.
The number of bachelor students was 19,736, the number of master students 12,025. Of these, 5,896 were international students.
In 2022, VU Amsterdam offered a total of 45 bachelor's degree programs and 100 master's degree programmes.
