The figures come from the 2022 annual report of VU Amsterdam (in Dutch only). In the data on students, the years refer to the academic years. Calendar years are used for the data about employees instead.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam had a total of 31,761 students.
The number of bachelor students was 19,736, the number of master students 12,025. Of these, 5,896 were international students.
In 2022, VU Amsterdam offered a total of 45 bachelor's degree programs and 100 master's degree programmes.
