Training in valorisation and impact

IXA organises workshops, courses, seminars, knowledge clips and more, especially for researchers. Our aim: to help researchers on their way in the valorisation process. During our training courses, you will learn essential valorisation skills. Our training program explores aspects of valorisation and increases the impact of your research.

Our workshops and programs are open to employees of Amsterdam UMC, HvA, UvA or VU. See the agenda for our current program.

  • IXA Learning Path Valorisation and Impact

    In this course, you will learn how to make the first steps in valorising your research and create impact. The goal? To inspire you, gain new skills and make you aware of the power of value creation. You learn how to actually achieve impact with your research results. Do you want to explore what your research can do outside academia?

  • IXA Impact Program

    Your work as a researcher and teacher is important. But how can you increase your social or economic impact?  

    The IXA Impact Program (six full days over a six-month period) addresses these questions and more:

    • How do you present a convincing story on your research, focusing on output and relevance?   
    • What strategy do you deploy?   
    • Who could be interested in your project or idea?   
    • How can you approach media, government agencies or companies?   
    • How could you increase the social or economic impact of your research?

  • Knowledge Clips about valorisation and impact

    IXA is developing knowledge clips that briefly highlight various aspects of valorisation. Topics: ‘Networking’, ‘How to make a stakeholder analysis’, ‘How or refine your idea’, ‘Collaborating with external partners’ and ‘Essential tips for professional networking’.
