Tax and Pension Law

The Tax Law department furthermore focuses on the inextricably link between tax law and pension law.

The chair in Tax and Pension Law was created on 1 September 2004 and is currently held by Professor Herman Kappelle. Students can participate in the Tax and Pension Law to acquire an understanding of the tax system and the legal regulations governing the tax treatment of pensions and other income-generating products such as annuities. The department works closely with the Pension Law (Professor Erik Lutjens) and International Social Security Law (Professor Gijs Vonk) departments.
