Although we are doing everything we can to minimize the inconvenience to students, staff and local residents as we dismantle the W&N building, it is inevitable that you will have to deal with it.
Think increased traffic or noise and dust when demolishing concrete. The extent and impact of the nuisance vary by phase of demolition. We try to inform and advise everyone as best we can.
What nuisances can be expected?
The following types of nuisances may occur during the period through the end of 2027:
- Shifting and moving movements within the W&N building and to other buildings on campus
- Construction traffic
- Removal of flora
- Noise, vibration and dust
