VU Pride has a number of committees which would love to have you as a member! Email pride@vu.nl if you would like to join one or more committees.
Peer Support organizes the VU Pride Talks! These are sessions you can attend to talk about your daily experiences as an LGBTQIA+ person. Contact them at peersupport.pride@vu.nl.
Cosy provides fun get-togethers for all students and employees of the VU. We have hosted origami and crochet events, game nights, and movie screenings with Rialto VU! Contact them at scaf.pride@vu.nl.
Library maintains the Pride Library, where you can find fiction and non-fiction books on LGBTQIA+ topics, hosts study sessions, and organises our Book Club. Contact them at library.pride@vu.nl.
Meet our Board!
We hold annual elections for the student board of VU Pride, in charge of keeping the organisation alive and bringing voice to the concerns of students.
Our Chair is the main representative of VU Pride, the Vice-Chair schedules board meetings and takes minutes, the Internal Secretary is the contact point between the committees and the board, the External Secretary deals with external relations of VU Pride, and the Treasurer manages the VU Pride budget.
