For the renovation and demolition of the W&N building, there will be construction traffic within the period from summer 2025 to spring 2028. The intensity of this will vary for each phase, depending on the emptying within or demolition of building sections.
Together with the municipality and district council, a route will be worked out and established whereby local residents, businesses and institutions on A.J. Ernststraat, Van der Boechorststraat and Buitenveldertselaan will experience as little inconvenience as possible.
The peak demolition periods, with associated construction traffic, are in the summers of 2025 and 2027. The main work in 2026 will be to rebuild part of the W&N building.
