The members of the science committee are appointed by the Faculty Board for a period of three years and are eligible for reappointment. The appointment is made in consultation with the heads of department.
The committee supports the Research Portfolio Holder. It advises the Research Portfolio Holder on all matters concerning the faculty's research policy and on the allocation of various grants.
In addition, the committee also supports the Director of Valorisation and advises on the faculty's valorisation policy. The science committee is supported by an official secretary.
