Teams
The department PPP consists of three teams:
- Planning
- Process Management
- Projects
Planning
The Planning team is responsible for education and exam planning for (almost) the entire VU:
from chain schedule to timetable, from concept timetable to the processing of timetable changes. More information on the process of educational planning and timetables can be found here.
Process Management
Team Process Management specializes in managing, controlling and optimizing the logistical and education supporting processes. Processen that are located close to each other, such as graduation and certification, are bundled in so-called process clusters. Each process cluster has two process managers and a group of experts, focused on managing and improving the process.
The education logistics chain has the following clusters:
- Application & Admission
- Student Finances
- Educational Planning (including study guide and academic structure)
- Educational Guidance (registering and result registration)
- Student Counseling (including additional facilities)
- International Services
- Graduation and Certification
The educational support chain has the following clusters:
- Teaching and Learning
- Supporting Exams
- Supporting Quality
Overarching there are the following clusters:
- Educational and Study Data
- Collaborating Institutions
Projects
An team of project managers is being set up. The project managers within this team direct operational and tactical projects, which are aimed at education and educational support. With an internal pool of project managers, continuity in project management is better safeguarded and existing knowledge of processes, systems and the organization is put to good use.
